Dr. Ravikumar Modali is a physician leader with deep expertise in chronic disease management, preventive therapies, workplace health, digital therapeutics, and AI in medicine. He has played a pivotal role in developing resilient health systems that enhance employee and resident wellbeing, boost productivity, and strengthen insurance-linked health benefit programs. Board Certified in Lifestyle Medicine (IBLM, USA) and a Certified Physician Coach (CCA, USA), he also holds advanced training in Ergonomics, Medical Informatics, and Advanced Medical Underwriting. His professional experience spans personalised care plans, workplace health promotion, ergonomics, regenerative therapies, lifestyle medicine, biofeedback systems, chronic disease reversal programs, and health insurance benefit design. Earlier in his career, he designed clinical protocols for EMRI’s 108 Emergency Response Services, developed provider networks and analytics for TTK Health Insurance, created wellness benefits at Vidal HealthCare, and mentored multiple digital health start-ups.
An alumnus of KEM Hospital, Mumbai, and BITS Pilani, Dr. Modali is a recognised thought leader across national and international professional bodies. He has served on the Executive Committee and Board Advisory of the Indian Society of Lifestyle Medicine and contributed as a Lead Trainer with the Telemedicine Society of India. In 2023, he led the Organising Committee of the global PREMUS, WDPI & Myopain Conference in Bengaluru, which brought together world experts in ergonomics, occupational health, and musculoskeletal medicine. His work has been acknowledged by FICCI, the Quality Council of India (QCI), the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), and the International Commission on Occupational Health (ICOH). He was also invited by the Government of India to review the National Programme for Prevention and Control of Cancer, Diabetes, Cardiovascular Diseases and Stroke (NPCDCS), and has authored two chapters in India’s first academic textbook on health insurance.
